Modified Night Train Passengers Backrest
I didn't like the small HD pad so the snow that keeps me in the shop got me thinking. Made the backer plate out of 5 ply wood to shape, welded and drilled the extra mounting bracket to secure with 3 bolts. shapped the diamond plate and drilled. Took the 2 items to the powder coater and worked on the backrest. Here is the finshished product on a removeable mount.

Nope, had the diamond plate powder coated in silver. Did not want the aluminum tarnished look it gets over time. I did want the contrast.
