Default How much do you ride?

I have enjoyed reading this forum for about a year and there is a lot to be learned from everyone. I am curious as to how many miles folks ride in a year. I rode 11K miles last year and that's down from around 15-18K @ year the previous 3 years. Rode less in the years prior to that, but I was AD military and that took up a lot of my time. I really have know idea if that is a little, typical or a lot. I could just be a poser for all I know.

Put 13,000 miles on my '09' Heritage the first year but plan on a little less this year. Retired 11 months ago and plan on getting started on those 'projects' around the house (right).

I only rode 6500 last year on the new Lo. Did a lot of commuting to work and not much weekend riding or vacations on the bike.

Sheesh, not much with a 1yr old. Shortly after purchasing my new bike my wife was prego and down in her back. Then once my daughter was here my wife had back surgery and then home projects and daily life. I have only been able to log 4000 miles since April 08 on my ride. My commute to work is less than 10 miles so my bike is like new. I like to get out for a few minutes a couple times a week in the summer, but don't set a goal for how many miles I have to get in each week. I ride just for fun, not to prove anything to anyone.

the proper answer for me would be 'Not enough'.. I think I rode a total of 900 miles last year just because of the ungodforsaken weather and I had an extremely busy schedule. Hope to do at least 2500 miles this year if the weather cooperates.
