thanks guys...appreciate all your help and tips! Will be waiting until snowmobile season is over....then the mud comes and we have to sit at home...great time to Harley wrench...will update in April how we make out!
Oh ya..and here was my day today....this is a long track 155 so when I say "buried" in snow I am not kidding.....bet this was a different view than most of you guys had today lol!
Cheers, and thanks again,
Randy
Just changed out mine for the 2nd time this weekend (bought some from cousin and they were for older softtail, axle wouldn't fit). Bought some new from dealer and went fine. Didn't have to take out spring, put new fork oil in. Getting to bolts behind headlight was a PITA.
Would rank it as a 2 or 3 on scale but looks awesome. Did it while wifey at work (she kept asking me why i needed them). When she got home she saw them and now wants me to do it on her deluxe LOL
