My 07 deuce has a 1" wide belt. The pulley hog pro sent me is measuring 1-1/8" on the inside teeth area. Is this right? Should the belt be more snug in there? I already sold my stock wheel and pulley so I can't look at that. The thing that worries me is older deuces had a 1-1/8" belt. I hope hey didn't send me the wrong one!!

How bout you read the thread before you have an ******* comment. Called them today, they were closed over the weekend, therefore I came on here for some input. Pretty sure there was no bitching involved.
Just to be clear, that should actually be a 20mm belt (which is commonly referred to as 1"). There will certainly be some space on the inside or outside of the pulley teeth, depending on the direction you're moving the bike, and I'd estimate it to be perhaps 1/16th of an inch at most.
I don't see how a wider pulley would have an adverse affect, though, as the transmission pulley is considerably wider. As long as the spacing is correct, I'd think that the belt should track fine on the wider surface? The belt is intended to track on the outside edge of the pulley when the bike is moving forward.

Hope this helps?
Thanks for the input. It has been confirmed with hogpro that its the right one. They are REALLY helpful. Thy are getting me the new pulley spacer quick. Renegade installed the wrong size. Hogpro said it shoulda been 1/4" not 3/8" like was installed.
Also wouldn't 20mm be more like a 3/4" belt? Aren't those size belts on the 200mm tire softails? Just wondering
Good to have excellent support from a vendor, isn't it?
Yes, the 20mm is used on the 200mm rear. When I was doing the research for my 70 tooth pulley conversion, most of the posts referenced a 1" belt, so it took a bit to find that HD actually specs them out as 20mm. It's pretty close.
And thanks much - your Deuce is lookin' pretty sweet also!
