haha sorry I don't know the names of everything yet. It was laying sideways against the shifter lever and some kind of silver plug of some kind. Not sure what the name of it is. Since the key was black against the black case it was well hidden. From the top you could not see it at all. Only way I saw it was up on the lift.

Don't feel bad....I been wrenching 40 years and I dropped 1/2 socket while making sure my exhaust header bolts were tight....out came my mirror on a handle....super bright LED flashlight and craftsman telescoping magnet .... and I found the little bastard. Get one of the smaller head telescoping magnets....start probing directly below the drop point. Then as best you can move a bit around and down. More than likely the key is wedged somewhere. My keys are black and my engine/tyranny covers are black...so if I drop one in a tight spot...its a bitch to find since there is no contrast. I don't think there are any open areas....but....if u cannot find it ....get your air compressor..dial it to 120 psi...and blow air into the gap where u dropped it.. see if u can move it around. Still can find it....raise rear wheel....put tran in neutral....spin tire a few revolutions...listen.... hear for a clink or clink....if u still can't find it....you can either ride it at this point.....or hope for the best. Only other idea comes to mind is careful aim of a pressure washer. Calm....thought out approach is best. We all fuxx up...its the only way to know you are actually doing anything.
