And of the regular motors harley has the dyna and touring mototrs which i belive cause more vibration and then the softail motors which are counter balanced to give you a better ride, but downside side is less kick when you yank on the throttle
They make em that way 'cuz they can. Any other way would result in a Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha or a Polaris Victory. Indian and Crocker almost got it right.
Wabbit if you ever get a chance to go to Milwaukee WI, go to the HD museum and also take the (steel toe?) tour to the engine plant, I went, makes you appreciate HD and the engine, plus you'll learn a lot.
