Received two today size xl. Both were too big (thick) and are going back to Leatherup.

I purchased the Skid Lid - Naked Shorty DOT Flat Black because it was supposed to be one of the shortest tightest fitting helmets that were DOT legal. It's bulkier and not nearly as comfortable as my DOT Dragon Cross that I think is too bulky.

called LU, rep said maker changed the design, getting refund, no prob... Ebay seller says he is aware leatherup is selling a larger version of this helmet but still using the same model number. His stock is the low profile version with the half inch liner. He does have L and XL in matte, and 2XL in gloss. Got mine...

Ordered a Licks NovDot yesterday, I'll let y'all know what I think. Usually run a non DOT, but the popo is starting to crack down a bit around here, and from what I've heard, they don't take kindly to the "garage certified" helmets. Your better off just not having a sticker at all.

I'm surprised I haven't seen NXT helmets mentioned at all. Picked one up about 5 years ago, at that time they were the smallest and lightest around. Not sure now, but they do make a nice helmet, though a bit pricey.

Greetings board members!

I am the seller of the AX300 helmets and am the only one offering these in the ultra low profile version. You will not find them anywhere else. I only have about a half dozen left in each size from Large to 2XL. They may not be restocked again, so get your order in soon.

All the best,
Dan
