so there are a couple of 2009 Night Trains near me for sale one has 4k mile and the other has 1.5k miles both are Black Pearl....whats a good price for these if both are in excellent shape...the one w4k miles they are asking 12.5k and it say it has the extended warranty
That is a decent price for a 09 any extra's ???? Do a ebay search, there a not that many for sale...i have seen 06 go that much.i paid 8900 for my 06 but it only has 5100 miles on it and about 10 grand on paint and engine and extas
The warranty is about 1500,but 1.5 is like brand new.. Offer 1100 and go from there.money is tight but cuz of the lack of harley selling new bikes there is also a lack of trade in's this year so the secondary market is also high,i have friends that buy at the auctions and the prices are high ,if you buy from a dealer you are paying 1000 to 3000 to much, look for a private seller that is the first or second owner,it took me 6 months of waching ebay to find mine but a got a grat deal with a 2 owner bike that had all the reciets and service records
Dealers usually get their way because you can always count on someone stupid stepping up and overpaying for a used bike.
I wouldn't buy used unless you can get the right price.
I would offer 10K for the one with 1.5K on it, and 8K for the other and see what they say.
I am sure you can negotiate something out.
Richiemack bought right. He didn't overpay, and he didn't pay anything more for the extras either. Accessories shouldn't add more than 15% to 20% of their original cost to the bike.
Having said that, I have flushed tens of thousands down the HD toilet in paint and accessories, but I buy new and I know that everything I add is basically worthless.

11,000 for an 09 with 1500 miles is a great deal they went for 15,900 new. The downside is the warranty is up, but I bought my 09 new (same color) and have 0 problems with it. You may be able to find an older model for less but it seems that even 07's, and 08's are in the 9 to 10,000 range. Good luck on your choice.

for 11k or less i could always buy the extended warranty but thats not a huge concern....i can service anything on it myself if need be...id like to get into the Train with 1.5k miles for say 9800$
