Default K&N air filter number for RSD 7 spoke air cleaner??

I have the above air cleaner and want to replace the Kury air filter with a K&N but can't figure out which one to get. If you know the K&N part number (the cleanable one) and you have a sec type it to me... Thanx

Why replace it? Just clean it and reoil it. The filter is the same as a K&N. I am sure I can get you a K&N 0800 but I do not think it is necessary. I think taht is the right one off teh top of my head.

I've googled my A$$ off for kuryakyn 04407 air filter and and came up with zilch trying to see if it was washable, I'm doing it now though and I'll see if it works, I've got K&N cleaner and oil from my truck.... Hope it don't rot ;o)

Thanx

While washing I flipped the sucker over and by golly it's a K&N after all, wonder why Kury puts they're name on it also.. I don't really want to know I don't care, Kinda torques my jaw though. Thanx again Drew, I can see through it now, kinda nice!!

I have been washing the filter from my RSD filter regularly for several years. It is washable.

I have the same filter. I had contacted K&N to have a spare so I'd always have one ready to go when one got dirty. K&N had no clue and said it was made specially for Kury and or RSD. None of the numbers matched up on the filter to Kury or K&N. and it says both of those stamped onto the filter. I haven't done any more to find out. RSD might have an answer.
Just in case my filter is also 'filtered" over the top instead of the metal plate, that normally has the bolt holes to screw a stock filer cover to.

Rob, you're correct they are made specialfor RSD and here's the important parts from an email I got back from Joseph Hitzelberger at RSD: Drag Sprecialties part # is 1011-2000, local Drag dealers http://www.dragspecialties.com/dealers/

I'd quote the whole msg but not sure if legal, K&N has a million mile warranty against workmanship and material and many like you want to have two filters so they can swap them out and not have to wait for them to dry and reoil. Mine has the filter on top as well, hope this helps you, I'm gonna go get another one soon as well.
