Well your not alone, I keep mine in the kitchen! Although I have a dyna, it all depends on how wide your front door is, 36" or 38"? I just went from a 36" with it being a little tight but manageable to a 38" door and it's a whole lot easier with them extra 2"s! Some advice if you go through your living room to get to the kitchen, get a carpet runner to put down so you don't damage your hardwood or carpet.
