can i install my big sucker before i put my tuner in this weekend.it came today id like to put it on... thanks

 

You can install it but I'd hold off on riding until you get the tuner. Lot's of air will lean the bike out even more. You can get away with changing the exhaust and nothing else.

Bike runs lean from the factory. With the exhaust and intake, it might be a bit much. The O2 sensors may help some, but might not be enough.

Don't let it hold you back from a good ride but it does need to be done. The A/C change means much more than the pipes.

 

One of my riding partners worked in service at HD for 20 some odd years told me that I was good to go as long as I had 2 o2 sensors. Mine is an 07' and I'm running Bub7s and a K&N. I ran it a bit and checked the plugs and they were a nice paper sack brown, just right. Checking your plugs will tell if you are lean or rich, but do whatever you are comfortable with.
