puffin smoke
Seafoam isn`t going to do a thing for an engine that is using oil (although from reading various bike and auto forums you would be led to believe it will cure any problem under the sun).
02 sensors? The engine being discussed is a 94 Evo.
Take the anti-dealer always go to an Indy stuff with a grain of salt...
There is no shortage of independent hacks out there....
Don`t get too wrapped up about a little smoke, no need to run to the nearest mechanic (if you don`t do your own work).
Just ride the bike and watch your oil consumption to see if there is a problem. No need to run to an Indy (or God forbid... the dealer
), unless you know the engine is using oil.

How many miles on the engine? Even a well cared for engine can get a little loose after 80K miles, some more, some less. The above responses are possibles, except the 02 sensor.
No kidding!? Really!? 94 evo is not fuel injected ... oh come on!?
Some guys who will read that BS about using Seafoam may have an EFI engine ... and they do have 02 sensors ... and a whole can of that useless junk in a 5 gal dilution can do some harm .... heck .. most likely will do some harm ... next time I'll be specific ...
Now .. back to the 94 Evo ... not fuel injected? Really ... ? You sure ... you got evidence!?
Oh ... I asked a bunch of old wives about Seafoam effect on cats ... and to a woman they said that junk is even deadlier to them ... jeepers ... as to wether I need to waste any effort convincing you ... I'd rather take a nap.
If it's been happening for some time, get a compression and leak down test done. Go from there. Puffing blue smoke is not good.
The engine being discussed is an engine in a 1994 Fat Boy.
I thought the Fat Boy did not get fuel injection until after the Twin Cam, but I don`t know everything...
Just because you don`t agree with someone does not mean you have to answer with a rude and obnoxious post, because you just might be wrong...
Cheers

never had even heard of seamfoam till I came on to this forum. I have no empirical or scientific data to support it, but have bought a couple of gallons of different additives over the years for cages and none of them made an a bit of difference in any problem I had. I got a $20K bike, if it's got a problem I am not dumping in a $8 can of anything in it hoping to fix it. Had '67 pickup that blew lots of blue smoke and consumed oil--about 2 qts to a tank of gas. Threw a case of oil in the bed, problem solved. Truck ran for a few more years after that. If I had a 94 Fatboy with an EVO and it was puffin' blue smoke, I wouldn't worry about it till I was ready to spend some big bucks freshin' up the motor. You know how they say check your oil at every fill up? You might want to do that.
