I just picked these up for my 09 Fatboy. Looked at the directions, and of course they are confusing to say the least. Anyone have any tips before I dive into these. Appreciate the help!!
Take pictures.......lots of pictures, make sure you have pics of the wire routing, if you mess that up you will pinch a wire and blow some fuses. Hummmmm how did I know that. Took an hour to figure out why I kept blowing fuses when I tested the blinkers.
Have fun man as it is a HUGE PIA! I need to fix my break switch in mine and have been putting it off for weeks. Just take your time and as posted above take pictures.
I just did them on my new bars.
Take you time and have a small flat blade screwdriver to pry the old cover off the switches and a pair of small needle nose pliers for the springs.
I found it was easier to pry the covers from the star shaped side first.
It took about 30 minutes to do both sides.
