I'm not sure what all I'm going to do with her yet. Right now I'm just enjoying the bike to much the way it is. I've only put 650+ miles on it since I picked it up. I rode the old bike to it's new owner today and about all I can say I'll miss on it is the backrest.

Monday marked day 17 since I picked up the Softail it also marked the 1000 mile mark for me and this bike. All in all I can't think of much I'd change for comfort on it everything seems to be in the right places. A back rest would be nice but not intolerable.

I never felt the need for a backrest on my 1986 FXSTC.
The nice low step in the seat gives lower back support. Feels like riding in a reclining chair to me.
You could always carry a sissybar bag if solo for back support.
