What is the best looking wheel size (front & rear) for a 2008 Night Train? I plan on getting some new wheels this year & just trying to figure out the correct sizes. Will a 18" wheel fit on the rear & look better than the stock size?
An 18 x 5.5 will fit but the 5.5 draws the 200mm tire in a bit making it a tad narrower. The nice thing about the stock 17 rim is Metz makes the 210 to fit on there. As far as the front it's up to you in widths, but stay with the 21". You can fit a 90 under the stock fender with the 2.15 width, or go with a 120 on a 3.25/3.5 width, or go for the 140 on a 3.5 width. You'll need a new fender for the 120 or 140 tires. that is, if you want to run the fender.....

Well I don't want to make the 200 look narrower so looks like I will stick with the stock 17 size. Is there a thread around for something like "show off your non stock wheels"??? I did a quick search & didn't come up with anything.
Interested in this also. I have seen some spokes look good, but I prefer the cast wheels, mags whatever they are called. I like the contrast cut Performance Machine ones. Harley has some black and chrome ones that look nice too, for less then half of what other brands are.
Man I am just trying to find a 17x6 or 6.5 spoked rim. They don't seem to make these so oddball is right. Anyone know where I can find one of these?
Don't care about color because I will just have it PC'ed.
