Got 18's and got to have poly bushings. There was way too much play in the bars before I replaced them with Poly's. Got my mirrors turned upside down also.
I run 16's on my Sporty and 14's on my FXD. I ride at night a lot and find that with the mirrors up top with tall bars the mirrors are up away from the glare of most car headlights. I also run solid bushings on both. Sorry, no pics.
Have to say that run the mirrors on top. Rode a buddies SG with and and all I saw were the bottoms of my arms. Also found it hard to look down when used to looking up to see the mirrors.
Thank you guys for all the input.
I'm getting excited about getting them on the bike. Wife picked me up some poly bushings today on her way home so Im all set.
Keep posting pics if you got em and if someone can link me to the ape hanger **** thread that was on here before I would really appreciate it.
This iPhone is nice, but when it's all you got it gets irritating.
Thanks again.
