ill get a springer eventually... but not at the cost of my family...
I have not ever bought one bike i NEEDED to buy....
but have bought many the deal NEEDS to sell..
My bike wil be there for at least the next week,,,,, if they want to make a move...

I think they were jamming you on your bikes value. The average of Kelly and NADA showed about 1000. between trade-in on yours and average retail on the other. I think you should be able to do a lot better on both ends of the deal by selling yours and buying from a private individual.

oh, there is no doubt they are ...were trying to jam me..
i dont mind working with the dealer..
taxes, financing, titles, registration.. all adds value to me..
yeah.. I did the research before i went in there..
i knew my bike was worth 1000 more retail, and trade in, over the springer..
i was willing to accept paying more for less of a bike as it is what i want..
Like i said...
7000 otd with a high interest rate would be okay with me...
8 -8500 otd with lower rate would be fine...
I was realistically looking at
11-12 trade for mine....
you know existing customer.. return purchaser and all...
and maybe 12-12.5 for theirs... seeing as they were asking 12.2
that would have given me roughly 3-4 thousand equity.....
that would have put me 7-9 realistically....
which numbers i would have been fine with.. bought a new bike... been out the door as a happy customer...
but they literally offered me 283 dollars equity in my road glide...
and thats just a slap in the face!
oh well.... a return trip to see Tim at orlando Harley will result in a springer for me eventually....
