So I'd probably only be able to get that much for the set used huh? That sucks. It's coming along man. It was SUPPOSED to have been done by the time I got back to the states and well...it isn't. I went up there this past week and helped design the rear fender (looks sick if you ask me). I had to go Friday and look it over to make sure I was happy with it before it went to paint soooo it SHOULD be ready for paint now but who knows. The springer frontend and wheels still haven't came in (not sure what's up with that). I decided to hold off on the pics til it's done to make it somewhat of a surprise.
surprise....aawww...you mean you gonna make us wait...LOL
Good to hear that your home and safe.
I say if you clean up the stock wheels you might be able to get around 5 bills for them.

Springer front end you say? Are you using the stock tank? If so, do you mind me asking where you got it from? Sounds like it's gonna be sick! @Hawaii, did you get a new bike? I thought yours was earlier than a '10?

Yep, springer frontend. I've always liked them so decided to just go all out with this project plus they ride a lot better on raked out rides from what I hear. No, I'm not using the stock tank, I had a custom one handbuilt. Wasn't cheap but.....yeah.

Yeah, I figured it'd be more of a shock if I just waited until the finished product. The tank is really going to make or break it based on the paint. I had to do a 3D type deal with another piece of metal on top of the tank to hide all the fuel injector crap since HD likes to put them on top. I didn't realize until after the tank was done that I could have changed over to a side mounted which sucks but what can ya do? At first we tried to mold the piece in to make it look flush but it just didn't look right to me so we did the 3D tank deal. Like I said, I think the paint is going to make or break it. I'm really happy with the rear fender though for what it's worth.

Yeah paint can make or break it. But from what I remember that tank was looking sick. And from the mods you told us about before, I know it will turn out sick as hell bro. I can't wait to see it.
