80 degrees here yesterday so i got out and tested myself on which way i ride. Mostly push! I was surprised. i had actually thought i pulled. I rode about 25 miles on some really twisty roads at 80+ mph. That 25 i was pushin AND pullin. The guy on the street glide couldnt hang but the GSX 1000 was right on my tail! Felt good to ride solo and let er rip!
Feel you brotha , been riding 30 yrs plus and a girl a work took a course 4-5 yrs ago and asked me the same thing ...I actually had no idea never thought about it ,so next time I took my bike out for a ride and found out I also do push ,just something you would not think about if you were never confronted with that question
A while back a buddy took harley's rider training course. He told me that he was taught to push the right handlebar when entering a right turn, and left for a left turn. I've been riding 33 years and had never even thought about this, but I took note on subsequent rides and discovered that I PULL on the left bar for a right turn and visa versa. I've since tried to change but have to think about it on every turn. What method do you guys use? Does it really matter much? Now I feel like a newbie lol.
Forget about it.....ride on. They teach that shtt at all the rider courses. Don't let it fuxx you up.
