Default 02 fatboy no start
The old mans 02 fatboy wont start everything is normal other than dont hear fuel pump kick on then wont even try to turn over the bike has security. Any ideas where to start?

Also, is the security turned off? If not the starter will not crank. Check the key fob in teh battery first and make sure teh alarm is off. They make sure the run switch is on. Then check your fuses (under the seat)

Then report back.

I had to go over to a friends house to help him start his bike. The first thing I noticed was his kill switch on. He never used the kill switch, so it didn't occur to him to check it.

Battery is good, security is off, kill switch is to run, fuses all good. Another thing is the headlight does not come on like it should when turn power on. The dash light on the tank around the speedo comes on but thats it.

Thanks for the responses but no cure yet. Keep them coming.

Sounds like you have it turned to accessary to me or the ignition is messed up. I am sure it is something simple. Keep us posted.

pulled it apart and the plug and one prong of the ignition was melted parts are ordered and should be back on road soon thanks for the help
