For thoes of u that have alarm systems on you're scoots, do u think it was a worthy option? or could u have easly lived with out it and put the $ it costs twards other mods....
How much is peace of mind worth to you when you park your bike somewhere? It won't stop the pro thief from getting your bike but it will stop idiots from messing with it. I sleep better at motels knowing the bike will scream if touched. But I keep good insurance too.
I don't have one, but I was thinking about putting one on, but one of the guys at the dealer told me not to waste my money on a HD one. Its a tough call cause it gives a little piece of mind
I am runnin this past me again! ..... You have a Harley and want to know if it's worth the extra cost of an alarm system OR spending more money on chromey bits so the thief can have a bit more bling! .... something not right with your logic

My logic is just fine fyi...I think if u have good insurance like u should any way, it shouldn't matter..If someone wants you're bike bad enough there going to get it alarm or not...my last bike didn't have one and never was stolen....thats why i'm asking the question I'm on the fence about it...

I'm in the same place your are. If I do one, I'm going with a Scorpio with Gps monitoring. I have state farm, they are really good about extras, if some one wants it, not much will stop them. The Scorpio allows me to do a whole lot more than a standard system.

Actually you are correct! The newer bikes electronics are disabled when fob is not with it, which means that it will either have to be lifted up and loaded or pushed onto a trailer. The only guys that will go to that much trouble are the pro's! And the alarm for them is just a technicality.
If your bike is a newer one with the fob then you can add a radio shack siren for less than ten bucks. Do a search on the site. I did mine and my bro-n-laws bikes in a matter of minutes.
