Default Baffles

I recently made a posting regarding quiet baffles, but I'm a little mixed up.
I thought my bike didnt have any in, but I bought some quiet baffles from Ebay ,when fitteng them I found that my Vand H Duals had some baffles in with wadding around them, which although quiet on tickover were reasonably loud when revved, but the bike lacked any lowdown torque ( it has a stage 1 ), and didnt feel right, also the noise wasa not nice, cant explain it but it just wasnt.
I found some invoices that came with the bike, from Augustine, stating that it had some Quiet baffles fitted, but they are completely different to the ones I have bought.
Any way the new baffles which I bought (for now, as I want some BCTs,)they have no wadding in them so its confusing me as to what I had in, but mainly what I've bought,
can anyone tell me from this link, what it is I've bought please, they fit perfectly, and seem to have given me some low end torque back,
The seller doesnt really know what it is he had.

Yeah, Yeah, Very smart.....not.
Perhaps I deserved that, but I asked him to size them up with a vernier, and he confirmed they were 2'' and definetly V and H, so I knew they would fit, so not totally blind, I just took a chance, it was afterall only £30.
I'm not grumbling, they fit perfectly and sound much better, also as I said more low down torque.
I just want to know if anyone can tell me more about what they are from the pics.

Thanks Sgt
The ones I took out look similar to yours,
Hopefully someone will recognise my new ones, I looked all over the web, couldnt find a single one that resemble them.

Yup, the ones in Post #4 are the V&H quiet baffles. The V&H quiet baffles are wrapped with wadding and closed at the end, forcing the exhaust to go through the wadding. What you bought may fit a V&H pipe, but it's not a V&H baffle. From my experience, the V&H Quiet Baffles give a slightly deeper sound and just slightly quieter. But like you, I was not satisfied with the sound. I had the regular baffles, then bought the quiet baffles, then sold those pipes and got something else.

Thanks Guys, they must be some spurious make of baffle that fit V and Hines, I'll put some miles on it today and decide on whether I like or not.
