Okay I need some help. Just got back from my longest ride on my Deluxe since I have bought it. 4 hours and my neck, shoulders and back are killing me. Felt like I was reaching for my handlebars the whole time. Not sure if Beach bars would let me lean back in my seat or if Ape hangers would help me.
Also I just put my new C&C Solo seat on not sure if that contributed to my problems.
With apes you can roll them back so you don't have to reach for them at all. The stock Cross Bones bars would be great. But I find without something to lean against my lower back takes a beating holding myself up against the wind.
I have beach bars on order, I'll get back when I find out if they are better or not.
Bars are personal but I believe Harley dealers have a set up where you can change out bars and seats to find what works best for you.
