I don't mind it one bit. I as well with age feel the need to be shielded. Wind in my face is nice sometimes but having it kick the s*** ot of me all the time gets tiring. I too contiplated converting my softbags to hard and have purchased a batwing. Many people say if you want the glide buy it. Well the jury is still out and replacing the softail with a glide has mant positive notes, however you mention a valid point of the B-motor and well it is black. I appreciate all you have done and if you don't mind telling us, how much $ did you spend to do the conversion?
Cheers!
Nice job, looks like it came from factory that way. I like the paint scheme on the fairing and bags, but it might look better with the tank solid as the lines kinda screw with your eye. It would also be cool to fab up some fork tube covers to beef them up a bit above your lowers.
Well thought out! Enjoy!

I say great job...that's one sweet looking custom build. Have to say I'm a bagger fan, but always liked the trains & you're is definitely one of the most unique.

Here's my Relay setup for going from the NT single headlight to Duals...
passing thru hot wires directly from the battery and using the orig. headlight wiring to trip the relays.
You wouldn't catch me riding that, but then again I'm 27 and I don't like baggers. That being said, I think it is very creative and I can certainly appreciate the work you put into it. That's what this is all about!
JIMSFBL is probably right about just buying the used bagger, but in your shoes I'd do the same thing and make what I had work.
And just so I understand... That's a (or was) 2003 Night Train?
