Hi there everyone i'm newer to this forum i stop and read alittle and search alittle.It's a great site and lots of info.I am 35 i ride a 04 heritage classic efi it has a SE Supertuner and a 95 kit with a big sucker also just took off the v&s longshots and put on v&s softail duals it has se205 cams that i dont like i was wondering if anyone has this type and has gone with bigger cams or what might have to be done i am the kind of guy that likes alot of lump i know its harder to do with efi but i was told by a local guy that i could put some better springs on and put some large cams in.i am not looking for highway power or anything i'm not wanting to lose torque that i have already but gain lots of lump.
Sorry guys i mean't to say 203 cams are the 204 cams enough or are the s&s 585 that much better.
204's are better for a 95" stock heads and flat tops. 585's need more compression - you will be disappointed or required to spend more on the build. Please do more research if you do any thing other then Andrews 26, 37s or SE204's. Certain woods cam may work but may require a 4* advance key. Plus, you are paying twice as much just for the cam. Go 204's...
You will never get the potato sound with EFI. But an 11:1 compression ratio, major head work, a forward mount intake from Arlen Ness and Thunderheader -- combined with 585s will give you a hell of a sound and 93/103 HP/Tq. I know cause that's what I'm running...
