I have Burly Brand beach bars, They are very comfy.. But not for agresive riding .. Just for crusing I would say...No back pain at all. and they look awsome
What kind of risers are you using? The ones Burly has listed don't work on a Deluxe.

+1 on 518s. I went with them because I wanted a bit more rise than the Wild1 550 beach bars to make up for getting rid of the stock risers. Very comfortable for cruising and I have no trouble with tight turns.

Does anyone know what the stock Softail Deluxe handlebar specs? I know they are 1" and I can measure to get the length. Tried to look up the specs just haven't had any luck.
You may want to take a look at the King Menteles from Klock Werks. They are 37 inches wide and appear to have a very nice riding position.High on my list of wanted items.http://www.kustombaggers.com/
