Picked up my bike earlier today, with the HD Beach Bars installed, and took it for a nice long drive. We had sunny 28°C, which is very rare for Brussels this time of the year.
What a difference these bars make! I now sit upright, no more back or shoulder ache. The position of the wrist is quite normal, no issues there for me.
The handling of the bike has improved drastically too. Making tight turns is a pleasure, both at low and high speeds.
Doing 140KMH on the highway is a bit challenging, but that normal without a windshield. At normal speeds, the wind pressure is ok.
One remark though: watch out in city traffic! 36" is wide, and maneuvering between cars could become an adventure...
I'll post some pics this week-end.
+1 on 518s. I went with them because I wanted a bit more rise than the Wild1 550 beach bars to make up for getting rid of the stock risers. Very comfortable for cruising and I have no trouble with tight turns.
Hello, I was wondering what type of bars and cables are those?
