Default Heritage Softail Risers

So my new 2010 Heritage showed up this morning and I got to sit on it for the first time. I had a new signature series seat put on it with backrest and as fate would have it I need the bars to come back about 1.5"-2" in order for my back to rest against the backrest. Went online and checked out the HD risers and they "look" light in terms of bulk. Anyone have them? How are they? Anyone know of any other risers out there that are perhaps a better quality or a little bulkier? I'm moving from a Kawasaki Vulcan to HD this year and am really stoked about it. I put the Phat Risers II on the Kawi and they were great but as near as I can tell they don't make them for HD. Thanks for your help.

I think the Heritage risers are 2". If you need more length, take a look at the Deluxe risers. They are 4" and work well with the Heritage bars. That's the set-up I have. I'm pretty sure you'll need the Deluxe clamp/riser cap though as the bolt patter is different.

you should have no problem picking up a set of Deluxe risers w/clamp on Ebay for $50 or less. Thats where I got mine. They are 4 up and 2 back and alot beefier than the stock Heritage risers. Not sure how they'll look with the Heritage Mini apes but I know some members here have the same setup.

If you end up needing new risers there tons of them out there. Personally I went with wild1 brand and love them good grip on the bars and sturdy!

The Heritage has 'mini' apes. You can just loosen the four cap screws and lay them back a little. I did mine that way.

That was the first thing I did to my Heritage when I got it home many, many moons ago. The risers are 1.7 inches on a stock FLSTC, at least on the pre 2008 models. I just bought a set off of ebay for less than $30 with shipping.

My stock Heritage risers measure 1.5 at the bottom of the "bowl" where the bar sits. I changed to the 4.5" pullback risers from a Deluxe, and yes you'll need the Deluxe top clamp also. It works great and should provide the adjustment you need. No cable changes are necessary, but I did remove one clamp on the brake line.
