So do the fangs do a good job of keeping the wind off your legs and feet?

ABSOLUTELY NOT! Not screaming at you---just wanted u to get the idea. No, they do nothing for the feet at all. They aren't supposed to either. I think I got more flapping and wind on my pants leg than before; but a whole lot less wind coming under the windshield and under my shirt and nose. The wind has to go somewhere---I think it went to my pants leg----but its more comfortable in cold temps with that windshield and fangs in my opinion.

awesome ride...did you have to cut a hole in the rear fender to install the rear turn signals?

Looks good. I'll bet you won't take the windshield, lowers, and backrest off this coming summer.

I don't know 85FXWG. I'm 99% sure the lowers will come off. Most of my riding is done locally anyway. Who knows about the windshield and backrest. They do provide a greater level of comfort and enjoyment factor
