Deluxe '07 Pipes
Finally! Bought my 07 Deluxe (Olive pearl and vivid black) in August, trading my 05 Lowrider in. Was at Biketoberfest and as usual had to sit in traffic. Was in traffic for about 2 minutes and I could feel the flesh on my inner thigh starting to cook, the heat was unbearable. I wanted to push the bike to the side of the road and walk away. We spoke with V&H guy at Destination Daytona about the exhaust for my bike. He said they have the Big Radius and Staggers (which I had on my Lowrider and the sound was great!)for the 07 Deluxe. Woke up the next morning and headed into a local shop in Daytona and they had the pipes in stock. Got home and with in the next hour or so, my husband had the stock pipes off and the new ones on! Again, FINALLY! I got the sound back that I missed so much and the pipes look great on the bike. Did not go with the Big Radius because we thought the shorter pipes would take away from the "old school" style. Rode to Main Street and rode around and yes, sat in traffic and did not have the flesh burning sensation as the pipes sit lower than stock. The oil tank still gets hot and I can feel the heat from that, but it is not half as bad as it was.
