Just picked up my new/used Deluxe and the first owner did a relocate but it doesn't seem as clean as the softbrake that was posted. Infact, if anyone knows how this was done, is it reverse-able? I actually prefer the stock location. The tail light appears stock since it still has the clear to shine up on the plate. I haven't dug into it yet since I don't have a service manual but I guess I can start with removing the light.

That is some bootleg rigging right there. Just take that piece hanging straight out off, and put the plate back on the bolts
I went with the softbrake parts recently on the wifes new deluxe, here's a trick for making the install easier. Loosen the fender strut bolts where they attach to frame by seat, removing the rear bolt completely from each side. Then wrap a 2x4 with a towel and lift fender high enough to place between wheel and fender holding fender up high enough to work under it.
Your absolutely right. I started dismantling and they did add that as a bottle opener. I put the frame back up top. not to thrilled that they drilled holes and mounted the stock upside frame upside down.
I took the protective sticker off of my fender and bought buttonhead bolts to fill the holes, after I dipped them in black touch up paint.
I'm going to buy a piece of felt to lay on my fender when I put the pillion and luggage rack on. Just poke a couple of holes in the felt and lay it down before mounting the accessories.
I did this install on the wife's 2007 Deluxe. I don't know if it was my fat hands or there is a bigger tire on but there was no way I was getting my hand in there to do this install. I gave up on trying - removed the bags and then the fender.
I thought to all the others out there that installed this were as choked as I was to have to remove the fender. But it looks awesome, now that it's done. I've gotta get some lighting on the license plate though...
