Anyone Wrap Their V&H True Dual Headers?
Hey Softail Gang,
I am planning on installing a set V&H True Duals on my 2008 Crossbones and I had the idea of wrapping the headers in black exhaust wrap rather than running the heat shields. A good HD Forum friend of mine who has these pipes says it may prove pretty difficult to wrap the rear header. He usually tends to know what he is talking about so I am inclined to believe him. On the other hand, I know there are a lot of you out there who are crafty and smart and can work out a way to do just about anything. If you are running Vance and Hines true duals and you have wrapped your headers, I would love to see photos and maybe hear some insight on some of the challenges you may have faced doing it. If all else fails I will probably just have my heat shields done in black just to get a different look than chrome until I can figure the wrap thing out. Thanks!
