With the background you put behind the bike it now looks like one of the pictures plastic model makers like Monogram or Revell used in adds for their kits when I was a kid back in the 60's.

Neither, and no offence ment it was just a humorous observation. In that setting it reminded me of all the models I made when I was a kid.
A nicely detailed one to be sure but a model none the less.

uno i only do this when i am in the mood its very time consuming. i put close to two hours into that picture i was sitting here watching the world series and was working on that picture. the key to a good picture is simplicity bike and background that's all you need keep the background simple late afternoon light is good when its low in the sky and will light up the bike if its up high overhead its not a good time to shoot also the flash could be used with the sun shinning it opens up the shadows get back and use the zoom shoot a few more pictures and ill try to help you out with pointers and adjustments
