oil tank tool?

i want to paint my oil tank on my lux,is there a special tool to remove the lines that snap in on top?

You can get those A/C line disconnect tool kits at any auto parts store like Pep Boys, Auto Zone etc. Way cheaper than Harley tools...

Try it without the tool, I saved some money and just removed them by hand. Did not have any problems at all.

Exactly. No tools necessary. Pull the cover back and it's fairly clear. Just squeeze the tabs and the lines pop right out. Works on both the oil tank and the engine.
