I wanted a system that was compact, chrome, and flowed with my bike and cableless bars. So I researched it for months. What I ended up getting was the J&M speakers and using my IPhone to adjust the music tone. I did not like the way the speakers mounted at all so I made my own custom setup.

And I know it needs to be chromed. But I have been real happy with this setup. The wind shield can also be taken off and on without affecting the speaker system. The J&M speakers also have volume buttons on one of the speakers that comes in real handy when you need to kill the sound at a light to talk. Hope this helps.

I installed my BOOM Audio system yesterday on my 2002 Heritage. WOW !!!! it sounds awesome. HD says it wont fit on a bike with a windshield bag. I made it fit. I put my ipod in windshield bag. Now just crank it up.

Hey Wayne Auld, I also have the H-D boom audio system and How did you get the windshield pouch to work with your system. I miss my windshield bag and would love to see how you made it work. Thanks.

My bike has no place for speakers. I've decided to go with Pandora on my Blackberry and listen through the Bluetooth feature. I've ordered the SMH10 motorcycle bluetooth headset (yet to arrive). That headset will let me listen to music, my GPS, talk to other bikes within range, and use my phone. Sounds like the best of all worlds. Hope it works out!

Im also very interested in adding music to my Heritage Classic. I would just like the option to plug my phone into it and play a playlist. But i have a few things holding me back

1. I dont want to spend $300
2. I dont really like the look of the 2" speakers
3. I dont want to spend $300

I thought of buying some sort of battery powered portable speaker set and somehow getting them mounted on there, but id rather have no music, than ruin the look of my bike

speaker system, lighting kit, S&S teardrop ... 3 things id really like, but just cant spare that much coin on one purchase.

I guess i can wait for Christmas, Birthday, or Fathers Day
