Default eingine big bore kit

ok .. just for the sake of askin a buddy of mine is doin a 88 to 95?? engine upgrade with a kit and it got me thinkin how much i can go up with mine

so i looked it up and it looks like for the 2011 Fatboy you can upgrade from a 96 to a 103 .. but then i see the 110 .... is the 110 possible from the 96 ( with direct bolt on ) and even at that is the 103 ( with direct bolt on ) ?

just my curiosity

how about splitting the difference and going with a 106"

http://www.sscycle.com/feature/featureview.php?s_id=12

...otherwise yes it's possible, and it's $1500.. p/n 27508-11

Cubic inches are only limited by your wallet.

If you exclude the minor case modifications, then the 110 kit is a direct bolt on.

The 106 in the link up there ^^^^^ is a direct bolt on with no machining needed as well. But yes, the 103 also requires no machining.

The 110" is not a bolt on modification; case boring is required. That will require removing the lower unit, splitting cases, removing crank/wheels, reassembling and boring cases for the larger cylinder spigots. So, in addition to the $1500, you are looking at the cost to R/R and split the cases and the cost of the machine work. If going 110" and cases are split, one would be crazy not to have the crank trued, balanced and welded and the Lefty crank bearing installed. So now you are talking mo money. If one was going to spend that much, spring for the 120R kit.

You can have your cylinders bored to 3.932" to fit aftermarket pistons and have a 107" with no case mods; that's the way to go if you are looking for max bang for the buck.
