I own a '05 Deluxe. I remember not sleeping nights knowing I own such a beautiful machine. About 2 months ago I added to my pleasures by purchasing an '07 SE Springer. I did this because I absolutely love the front end. Well, this Springer looks and rides better than anything I could of imagined. I get more compliments on this bike than I ever will on the Deluxe and since its brand new, I naturally have been riding it and letting the dust settle on the Deluxe. I havent put 50 miles on her since the new addition. The Springer with the 110 is way more fun to ride--no doubt. Buuut latelly things are changing witinin me, I am back to apreciating my Deluxe like the first day we met. That bike, IMHO, is the best looking thing out there. I am now in love again and just wanted to voice my opinion to all the lucky folks on here who own this great HD model.
I would love to have the screamin eagle springer next to my 05 deluxe but seeing i can only have one its the deluxe all the way. I also like the dyna screaming eagle nice looking bike
Ahh..yes, I've seen lots of nice bikes out their (including the SE Springer), but none of them could make me get rid of my Deluxe... to me, no other bike compares!
I know the feeling....I like to take my wife's SEFB out and blow the carbon out of it but the Deluxe is just more comfortable and of course I like the "retro" look.....
I got to admit myself, the Deluxe is one of the best looking and classiest bikes in Harley's line up. I'd love to own one myself someday. Everytime I see one on the road, I turn my head because they truly stand out like no other Harley; especially many of the two tone models.
