Hi everyone,
Well this cross bones rear wheel swap on my NT has been quite a challenge but I think I'm almost there.
I need a 7/16 in thick pulley spacer that will accept a 3/4 in axle with a 2.208 locating diameter. Vulcan does not list them with 3/4 in axles. Just called there and some guy told me to buy the next size up and they will turn it down? I told him that makes no sense at all and he told me to call back later and speak with the boss, Paul.
Question is, does anyone know where I can get a pulley spacer that meets my requirements?
Not really. The guy I spoke with didn't seem to understand what I was talking about. The one that they offer that I need has a hole that will accept a 1" axle while I have a 3/4" axle. He said to buy a bigger size and they would turn it down. I'm no genius but I am sure that you can't turn down a larger hole into a smaller one.
I just got off the phone with another guy there that said to buy the one with the 1" axle hole and that will work fine.
