Default Fork help

I'm in the process of installing the progressive monotubes, but am running in to problems at every corner. Not problems with the product, problems with not having the right tool, bolts tightened took effing much, stripped heads, ect. Now my problem is that on one of the forks I slipped and allowed the bottoming cup to come out of position and can't get it situated right to allow the new tubes to fall all the way into place.

Anyone have this happen to them when they've done their front ends? How'd you solve the problem, take the fork completely apart? This is one mod I a regretting doing on my own.

Looks like I got lucky. After jiggling it around and peering down the tube, I finally got it flipped rightside up and in its spot. I was able to get the monotube in and start to tighten the bottom fork bolt. This is the first break I've caught on this install.
