Default Installing Clean CCCS Handlebars!! Pics and Questions!!! (It Looks sick though!!!)

Hi Everyone,

First of all I wanted to thank everyone for purchasing great ideas and how to change handlebars. Reading through this forum made me comfortable enough to do it even though my skills are very very little. I have somepictures of some things that didnt teach in the forum and as a complete newby I had no idea about them, so hopefully they help someone!

First of all, I did not remove the tank. I simply pulled it back by removing a bolt at the bottom of the tank (under the seat), a bolt under the front of the tank in front of the triple tree and one on the gauge. I also had to remove a gas line (I believe that is what it is). That was simple and here are some pics.

Now a couple more question. this is what I did with the wires. All of them work except for the High Low beam (I believe I need to call up the company cause there seems to be a relay switch I need to use but have no cluw how to) Supposively I need to attach the red and then the black wire from the handlebar to 3 different wires on the motorcycle (one is green, white and yellow on the motorcycle (I belive those were the colors) So what do you guys think, should i just weld them and heatshrink tube the wires and call it a day?

More questions....

How much extra room do I need to leave for the throttle and idle cables?

What could I use to cover this bolt(The original cover doesnt fit because of the built in risers on the bars.....

So yeah the project wasnt too bad but I definetely recommend having someone with you to help. Some of the things I couldnt have imagined doin it by myself... Hope some of you find this helpful, and some of you can help me as well! Now all I am waiting for is my jockey shift, finish with the rest of the things and I will be on my way!!!!

Just to make it clear with the cables and the welding my plan of course is to individually weld the wires and individually shrink wrap and then after individually shrink wrapping it shrink wrap them all together... I just realized how messy the wires look in the picture!
