I've read several people have been able to do the installation without totally disconnecting the tank. My question is... how the heck do you get in under there with your fingers??
and have you run the wires through the frame under the seat? how do you get them through that small space??? Do I need to totally disconnect the battery - pull the wires through and then replace the battery???
I just unbolted the tank and propped it up. I use my fingers to unhook the EFI terminals, but had trouble getting them back there to reconnect things. I used a set of pistol grip needle-nosed pliers and did the connecting easily.
but dumb *** me broke a piece in the fuel line... kiddo on the phone with work seeing if they have the part in stock... can put it on when he gets home from work, just means no tuning of it until tomorrow
