I've been thinking of going with a smooth one-piece stretched tank on my softail, but moving the speedo is the one thing that's holding me back. I'm not crazy about having large gauges up on the handlebars, but I don't know where else to put them. I'd be interested in seeing pictures if someone has some good options...
Any of you ST guys move the speedo to the riser? add a tach with it?
Thanks
Might be able to see it easier up there but......
I think the classic fatbob tank is one of the best things Harley Davidson even designed.Seems to me like it says HD louder than almost any other feature on their bikes. You've already got your speedo off the tank on your Superglide, why not really have the best of both worlds ?
Of course I'm not much of a believer in tachs anyway,I can feel the RPM's well enough to know what's up.
Speaking of that what are you doing here anyway ? Aren't you supposed to be posting in the Dyna forum ??? Just Kidding [sm=joke.gif]
You remember when I used to hang out over there, posted here a couple of times here on the softail forum and look what happened...
