this is kinda funny, I love the black look but on your bike i prefer the chrome pipes, maybe its cuz the motor, if it was a train id say black

I'm 52. Have a 09 FLSTF with chrome and facing a similar decision of which pipes to get for mine. I REALLY like the big radius black 2:2. Haven't decided if it will complement my chromed out bike or not. Have been searching all over for some photos of that of that combo (chromed out bike with the black big radius 2:2), but haven't seen mcu to base a decision on yet. What did you choose, if you have yet?

For your special paint, and some kind of 70's look the chrome way is the best..!

Wow,i had forgoten about this thread. Thanks for all thr replies guys.I ended up staying with the black and blacked out a few other things with plastidip. Here's some pics

HD, I'm obviously a chrome *****, but I think the black pipes were a great choice! Looks great with your paint scheme, almost looks like the pipes pick up with where the lines wrap to the bottom of the tank. Bike is looking great!
