Default torx bolts

i have the 2010 fatboy lo . the torn bolts on the fender struts are they self threaded or do they have a nut behihed the bolt. hard to see behind the fender thanks

There is a plate with a 2 nuts attached on the inside of the fender. Hard to explain, but you can see it on the drawing on this website:

+1 on the nutplate on the backside of the fender. Nothing you need to get a wrench on to.

thanks people i just got my chrome torx bolts i will put them in. i hope i can get out the old ones lol

Heat the Torx with a solder iron and tape of the fender in case your torx bit slips out - I got a nice little scratch that way on the old tins.

Replace one at a time or the back plate will fall out. No big deal, but it will make it go quicker.

when i get them on i will let you know. i think they will look good my fatboy lo vivid black needs a little chrome here and there. i need to get a size 45 tork bit nothing easy lol

Dude call some autopart stores and see if they'll loan you one. If not they're cheap and its always good to have the tools in your own possession. If I ever need a tool I buy it cuz chances are I'll need it again.
