I thought you could push a 96 to a 117? Is that wrong?

I think you can go to a 124 maybe but any thing over a 110 gets to be too expensive for me. I priced the 124 kit and it was 5600 not installed.... 6500 for some extra horse power is too rich for my blood for sure! Im even thinking a little about stock displacement head work, bump up compression, woods 555 cams, clutch spring, and ported throttle body and hope to see the 100hp mark and save about 600 beans! But I like the sound of big bore kit!!!! Because it means theres always room to add more power with more mods.

maximum you can go without splitting the cases is 107". after that you must split the cases and then you can go 113,117,120 etc. and bottom end work then is a must!. good luck!

Yeah I think I'd just go with a procharger before all that. More power for the buck

Procharger i've already priced $4875 not installed. All joking aside, Im truly hoping to stay under $2500 really $2000 but I may splurge a little for some extra hp

Look at Fuel Moto. Jaimie has 107" big bore kit complete for $1299 or installed with dyno-tune for $1995. This kit is using your stock heads and boring your cylinders. Kit makes good #'s for the $$ money. http://www.fuelmotousa.com/107kit.htm
