Default Adjusting shocks on 2011 Fatboy??

Hi all, when adjusting the rear shock preload, how on earth can two wrenches fit in the space under the bike for the adjustment? I understand you need a 9/16" to put on the flats of the shaft so it doesn't rotate when you looosen the locknut, I can get this done. I don't see how it's possible to fit both the 9/16" wrench and the spanner and turn the can though. The shock mount is in the way. Any help would be appreciated!

I just did mine a couple of weeks ago. I did not have to use a 9/16 wrench. Just used a cut off 1 1/16 wrench to break the jam nut loose then turned the shock with the spanner wrench. It did get a little tight in there after 4 full turns out but I had no problems.

None at all. The jam nut broke loose a lot easier then I thought it would. No need to put a wrench on the shaft.

I have done mine twice now and it took no longer than 5-10 min. I set it out 4 turns for me and the wife and then back 2 turns for just me. Planning on changing out to Progressive 422's this winter when I have some down time. I want to lower the rear a bit and get a little more pre load for 2up.
