Default Jockey Shifters, Show your clutch perch ideas please.

Attention to all bikers that have moved over to the world of foot clutching: Weclome to the club!

Since nobody makes a piece to replace the part formally known as the clutch perch, I'd love to see pictures or hear ideas on what you did to remove all evidence of your hand clutch's presence.

Grinders, saws, big hammers, or your teeth. How did you do it?

Chrome, powder coat, paint, or just mother nature. How does it look?

I'd love to see any pics or hear any stories before I light up the grinder.

No turning back now!

I just used a saw and then cleaned it up with a fine grit grinder wheel. Still have to chrome it. Will try to get you pictures when I get back to the casa.

I took off my clutch perch and got a Millers mirror clamp for my mirror.

A few cuts a grinder and some spray paint work just nice. For the first month or so I left the clutch button accessible for the learning days when stalling was more regular. But I recently got rid of all the switches and run nothing but a grip on that side---much better! I'll post pictures later!

You could always go with custom controls and switches. A lot more expensive that way though.

This is what I was going to do. I got the left side PM contour and then I priced everything out and decided it was a little more than I could spend. I still have the left side control unopened here on my desk.

If you run just a right side mirror and move (or remove) your blinkers, you can just go without anything on that side. That's what I did at least. I just realized that there is no mirror in this pic, but I now run a small mirror underneath the right side grip.
