My passing light lenses are all hazy, foggy, dirty, something (???) on the inside. So I took them apart to clean, but can't get the lense out of the housing. What am I doing wrong??? Wouldn't have thought this would be that hard of a trick, but it's got me stumped! Any suggestions?
That's what I was starting to wonder, but couldn't see any glue or other indication they WILL NOT separate. Just thought I was doing it wrong . But if that's the case, any suggestions on how to get rid of the haze?

I took some Stoner Invisible Glass and sprayed it inside the housing. then swirled it around, let it sit, and then rinsed in hot water. Done.
I've been told that washing them in the dishwasher works, but haven't tried it to verify.
If it's a sealed beam, it doesn't come apart. They make an acrylic head light lens polish you could try. You can probably get it at your local auto parts store.
I have a '07 Road King. I took the light apart per the Shop Manual directions to disassemble the light and replace the bulb.
After removing the the bulb I put a few drops (3-4) of isopropyl rubbing alcohol inside the lens. Swished it around a few seconds, then used my compressor to blow most of the alcohol out. It worked GREAT!

Everybody mentioned about not being able to get the lens off the housing (backing). That part is a given. Your question seemed to imply you cannot get the passing lamp itself out of the chrome housing. That would be a weird problem to have. Which is it?
