Congrats on the outcome. I know this is a rough way to start out with your new bike but the first time you ride it farther than 57 miles this will all be forgotten. Best wishes with the new motor. Make sure you thank the dealer and I would refer people to them for treating you right. Some dealers are not this great and that is why there were so many negatives listed to watch out for in this thread.

On that note moriarty, maybe you should keep your assenine opinions to yourself. This forum is to help people out and encourage our peers on the success of our bikes. Most of us work very hard to get these great looking bikes we ride. My guess is you are a trust fund baby that hasn't paid for a thing in your life and sponge off society or your parents as much as you can. This is usually how spoiled a$$holes act. If that is how you are going to act maybe you should create your own forum for a$$holes with Harley's that think they are cool, then you can be the head DI%K!!!

I also might add, the guy you are clownin happens to be in the military, fighting over seas to protect the freedoms that you enjoy everyday that allow you to do such things like run your mouth on forums like this!!! If it were me I would think twice about the stuff you say on here!!

With that said.. Wabbit, I wish you the best of luck, all you can do is wait to see what happens. The bike is under warranty and I doubt the dealer will screw you. Just hang in there and see what happens. I would ask for a loaner bike though, most places will at least do that for ya so you have something to ride.
I could not have said it better myself...

Glad to hear things are working out for you wabbit. Did you ask the dealer what the cost would be to upgrade to 110"?

Great outcome. And even better that it's happening to a member of our esteemed military. Again- thank you for your service.

Keep us updated on any and all mods and developments with your bike. Remember Wabbit, 99.9% of us are here to help. F*** the haters.

Ditto,
This has been a very interesting read, and Kudo's to you Wabbit for asking the question, separating the wheat from the chaff, and getting positive results.
One thing for certain is you will not forget this experience and will be much more attentive to your new machine. Some of us have to learn the mechanics of mechanics not being born with or yet acquired said knowledge in our life.
If the price is right go with the 110" if they'll do it.

Thanks, all, you are very kind and have been very helpful. Great site here, great people!
As for the 110 engine, I was so relieved to hear about the new engine, I totally forgot to ask about the bigger one. I will do that.
