cleaning big daddy spokes?
hi, i am leaning toward fat daddy 50 spoke with chrome rim and black spokes ,if anyone has these or ones like it is the black hard to keep clean, and who would have best buy on fat daddy ,thanks
Drew from Dr.V-Twin will get you the best deal on Fat Daddy's and their customer service is Top Notch! They will do whatever it takes to make sure their customers are satisfied! There's many of Drews satisfied customers on this Forum so I'm sure someone will chime in here. As far as keeping them clean, mine are not black but I wash them atleast every 2 weeks to get brake dust off but I don't ride everyday. Definetly reccomend getting LRB racing brake pads as well. No where neer the same amount of brake dust as factory. Drew sells these as well!!!

I wash mine weekly. Wet them, hit them with a wash mitt with soapy water, rinse down, and then hit them with my dryer. Then I hit them with some sort of cleaner and wipe clean. I got hailed on yesterday and washed them last night they look good as new. My set i had before the current set did not get a regular washing treatment and they got really really dirty. I also run the Lyndall pads. I was talking to Sam from Ride Wright and he told me weekly or bi weekly is the way to go. With the air force blaster it takes about 40 minutes to do both wheel so they are perfect. I do have the best prices around on Ride Wrights as well. Happy Memorial Day everyone. Thanks for your service!
